Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Case Management Coordinator to join our Beaverton Child Welfare team. As a key member of our team, you will provide support to field staff, agency staff, foster resource families, providers, and the public. Your dedication will help us achieve our mission to support children and families in need.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clerical support to field staff and agency staff, including data entry, record processing, and document preparation.
  • Ensure all information entered and uploaded into the Child Welfare OR-KIDS information system is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Process records and ensure compliance with state and federal laws.
  • Assist with reception and phone duties as needed.
  • Support fleet vehicle operations.
Requirements:
  • Two years of general clerical experience, including keyboarding, word processing, or other experience generating documents.
  • Associate degree in any field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with legal procedures, including preparation and submission of court documents, and managing the discovery process.
  • Previous experience in front desk reception duties, showcasing effective communication and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to explain rules, regulations, and procedures related to a specific program or service to individuals.
  • Experience with utilizing computers for tasks such as data processing, entry, and verification of detailed information.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with clients or customers to resolve conflicts and disputes.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with people from a wide variety of backgrounds and showcase intercultural competency.
Working Conditions:
  • This position will be required to work in the office.
  • Travel may be required to meet business or operational needs and/or employee training.
  • Occasional evening hours may be required dependent on business needs.
  • You may come into contact with individuals who have experienced trauma and have difficulty controlling their emotions.
