Job Summary

Retina Consultants of Texas is seeking a skilled Oncology Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to individuals with ocular oncology needs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide counseling and education to patients regarding surgeries, treatment plans, and post-operative care.
  • Manage patient care plans, including tracking lab results, imaging, and pathology reports.
  • Coordinate treatment plans with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Assist with referrals and ensure seamless communication between practitioners.
  • Provide empathetic support to patients and their families.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an LVN, ADN, or BSN program.
  • 1-3 years of experience as a nurse in a hospital or clinic setting.
  • Experience in Oncology preferred.
  • LVN or RN license in the state of Texas.
  • CPR certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual.
  • Working knowledge of oncology and patient diagnosis.
  • Working knowledge of insurance and billing terminology.
