Oncology Nurse Specialist

Retina Consultants of Texas is seeking a skilled Oncology Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to individuals with ocular oncology needs.
Responsibilities- Provide counseling and education to patients regarding surgeries, treatment plans, and post-operative care.
- Manage patient care plans, including tracking lab results, imaging, and pathology reports.
- Coordinate treatment plans with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Assist with referrals and ensure seamless communication between practitioners.
- Provide empathetic support to patients and their families.
- Graduate of an LVN, ADN, or BSN program.
- 1-3 years of experience as a nurse in a hospital or clinic setting.
- Experience in Oncology preferred.
- LVN or RN license in the state of Texas.
- CPR certification.
- Bilingual.
- Working knowledge of oncology and patient diagnosis.
- Working knowledge of insurance and billing terminology.
