We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at Texas Oncology. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with cancer.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient health status and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health literacy and self-management skills.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care, including medication management, diagnostic testing, and treatment planning.
- Facilitate communication between patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education, BSN preferred.
- RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum 0-3 years of nursing experience, preferably in oncology.
