The ASE Security division is in search of a Manager to oversee a group of Security Engineering Program Managers dedicated to enhancing the security of the services and infrastructure that underpin Apple's internal and external offerings.


Your leadership will be crucial in implementing new functionalities while ensuring that security remains a priority in our software and development practices.

You will collaborate with a team of program managers focused on engineering, who are passionate about advancing our security, privacy, and compliance technologies.

As our work spans the entire software stack, you will engage with various engineering teams.

We cultivate strong partnerships, establish trust, and influence without direct authority. Our communication is transparent and direct, we collaborate with enthusiasm, and we uphold a culture of constructive debate. Role Description:
We are seeking a Manager to guide a skilled team of Security Engineering Program Managers focused on securing the future of Apple's cloud platforms and services.

In this role, you will develop a comprehensive vision for how Apple secures its services and infrastructure, which includes fortifying existing systems, collaborating on new security projects, and designing secure system deployments.

This position requires building consensus among all of Apple's security teams, cloud and infrastructure engineering, global networking, and data center teams, engaging with everyone from engineers to executive leadership.


This is a hands-on position that involves close collaboration with engineering organizations, site reliability engineering, business, finance, and operational teams.

You will be the connecting thread among these diverse teams to deliver comprehensive initiatives that enhance security for iCloud, internal cloud services, and infrastructure.


Your team will participate in all phases of the project lifecycle, whether it involves developing functional requirements, conducting detailed analyses, facilitating proofs-of-concept, or overseeing global platform delivery.

Essential Qualifications:
- Strong capabilities and interests in security engineering
- Experience managing a team of technical program/project managers responsible for security services and internal offerings.
- High level of technical expertise and hands-on experience collaborating with highly technical teams
- Proven history of not only delivering programs but also defining, owning, and driving new strategic security initiatives across an organization
- Familiarity with modern cloud platforms and technologies
- Ability to identify risks and drive execution across multiple teams to address them
- Strong relationship management and facilitation skills within diverse engineering teams and cross-functional organizations
- Proven self-starter, dedicated, demonstrating creative and critical thinking abilities
- Exceptional presentation skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate complex requirements clearly and credibly
- Overall, a highly motivated, results-oriented problem solver who will drive programs and deliver services that enhance security for Apple users.

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree or equivalent work experience in project management or security engineering.

Compensation & Benefits:
At Apple, base pay is just one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range.

This allows for growth as you develop within your role.

The base pay range for this position is between $164,200 and $285,900, with your specific base pay depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become shareholders through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.

Employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards and can purchase Apple stock at a discount through the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
