We empower Apple's applications and services on a vast scale, reaching hundreds of millions of users across more than 35 languages and over 150 countries.
The ASE Security division is in search of a Manager to oversee a team of Security Engineering Program Managers, focusing on the enhancement and fortification of the services and infrastructure that support Apple's internal and external offerings.

Position Responsibilities:
We are seeking a Manager to guide a skilled team of Security Engineering Program Managers dedicated to securing the future of Apple's cloud platforms and services.
In this role, you will develop a comprehensive vision for how Apple secures its services and infrastructure, which includes strengthening existing systems, collaborating on new security projects, and designing secure system deployments.
This will require building consensus among all of Apple's security teams, cloud and infrastructure engineering, global networking, and data center teams, engaging with everyone from line engineers to executive leadership.
This is a hands-on position that necessitates close collaboration with engineering organizations, site reliability engineering, business, finance, and operational teams.
You will serve as the connective thread among these diverse teams to deliver comprehensive initiatives that enhance security for iCloud, internal cloud services, and infrastructure.
Your team will be involved in all phases of the project lifecycle, from developing functional requirements to conducting detailed analyses, facilitating proofs-of-concept, and delivering global platforms.
You will cultivate positive relationships; remain aware of organizational dynamics without becoming entangled in them; consistently seek personal and team improvement; anticipate challenges; and deliver results.
Key Qualifications:
- Strong capabilities and interests in security engineering
- Experience managing a team of technical program/project managers focused on security services and internal offerings
- High level of technical proficiency and hands-on experience collaborating with highly technical teams
- Proven history of not only delivering programs but also defining, owning, and driving new strategic security initiatives across an organization
- Familiarity with modern cloud platforms and technologies
- Ability to identify risks and drive execution across multiple teams to address them
- Strong relationship management and facilitation skills within diverse engineering teams and cross-functional organizations
- Proven self-starter with dedication and creative, critical thinking abilities
- Exceptional presentation skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex requirements clearly and credibly
- Highly driven, results-oriented problem solver who will lead programs and deliver services that enhance Apple's security for users.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree or equivalent work experience in project management or security engineering.
Compensation & Benefits:
At Apple, base pay is one component of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides opportunities for advancement as you grow and develop within your role.
The base pay range for this position is between $164,200 and $285,900, and your base pay will be influenced by your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the chance to become shareholders through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.Employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if they voluntarily participate in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
