Job Summary

The Administrative Head Cashier plays a vital role in ensuring seamless customer experiences and efficient store operations. As a key member of the Westlake Ace Hardware team, this individual will be responsible for managing register transactions, providing exceptional customer service, and assisting with office duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage register transactions, including sales and returns, to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide top-notch customer service, greeting customers, and addressing their needs in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist the Assistant Manager-Operations with various office duties, such as receiving, invoices, and inventory adjustments.
  • Verify cash register balancing procedures and ensure compliance with store policies.
  • Participate in quarterly audits and provide support as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front-end appearance, including impulse counters and shopping carts.
  • Communicate merchandising, cost control, and sales ideas to the General Manager for follow-up.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in a retail or customer-facing role is preferred.
