Department Overview

Our float team is a vital part of nursing services, providing a valuable resource to the entire Children's Minnesota St. Paul Campus.

Float team members apply their skills in various areas, demonstrating exceptional knowledge, resourcefulness, and flexibility in their care and support of units.

Our nursing care team consists of registered nurses, clinical support associates, and unit operations coordinators, working together to provide excellent care to our patients and families.

Position Summary

As a Clinical Support Associate, you will provide safe patient care as delegated by licensed nursing staff and maintain equipment and supplies according to unit standards.

Requirements include completion of a nursing assistant course or equivalent experience, current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred qualifications include one year of previous Nursing Assistant experience or equivalent experience.
