Department Overview

The Neuroscience Center is a 26-bed unit located on the 5th Floor of our Saint Paul Campus. Our team provides comprehensive care to a diverse range of patients, from infants to young adults, with a focus on epilepsy/seizure disorders, post-operative neurosurgery care, general medical/surgical care, and acute behavioral health crisis.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Clinical Support Associate to join our team. As a Clinical Support Associate, you will provide safe patient care as delegated by licensed nursing staff and maintain equipment and supplies per unit standard. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary teams to provide high-quality care to our patients and families.

Requirements
  • Completed a nursing assistant course or equivalent experience
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • One year of previous Nursing Assistant experience or equivalent experience preferred
Skills and Abilities
  • Proficient communication, critical thinking, and prioritization skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English
