Job Summary:

The Senior Manager of Sales is responsible for leading the sales team to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth. This role involves overseeing multiple sales channels, executing strategic plans, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day sales operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

Develop and execute strategic sales plans to enhance market reach and drive revenue growth.

Prepare guidelines for sales teams to ensure prospecting and pipeline management.

Assist in developing and leading the execution of short- and long-term sales forecasts.

Define and establish KPIs, and develop reporting tools to track performance metrics.

Oversee sales and product training curriculums, leveraging internal resources and vendors as needed.

Evaluate and recommend technology enhancements to improve operational efficiency.

Maintain awareness of product trends through regular visits to competitors, trade shows, and customers.

Lead the development and implementation of related compensation programs.

Collaborate with Merchandising to identify and address slow-turning, obsolete, damaged, and overstock merchandise.

Work with Marketing to establish promotional programs, catalogs, and website development.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Professional Sales, Marketing, or Business.

6 or more years of related sales leadership experience.

3 or more years of sales, channel, or product management experience.

Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a sales team.

Outgoing, professional demeanor.

Strong analytical and organizational skills.

Intermediate PC skills, spreadsheet development abilities, and working knowledge of designated software.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Work Environment:

The office setting is climate-controlled, and the noise level is usually quiet to moderate. The warehouse setting is partially climate-controlled, and the noise level is usually moderate. Employees may be regularly exposed to forklift, foaming, and cutting equipment.
