Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Recreation Program Coordinator to join our team at HRA. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and running community activities that promote resident engagement and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the DLE in planning and coordinating community activities, including events and outings.
  • Develop and maintain a monthly activities calendar and newsletter to keep residents informed.
  • Encourage residents to participate in community activities and provide support to ensure their independence.
  • Order supplies and equipment for regular activities and ensure their safe use.
  • Attend outings off-site and ensure the safety and well-being of residents.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the DLE, including maintaining the Activity Participation Tracking Chart.
  • Contribute to the success of the community Parallel Programming schedule.
  • Maintain confidentiality and respect resident privacy at all times.
  • Drive residents to and from activities as needed, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Take ownership of associate and resident safety, reporting any concerns to the DLE.
  • Disclose any medication that may impair job performance or safety.
