Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Recreation Program Coordinator to join our team at HRA. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and running community activities that promote resident engagement and independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Activity Planning: Assist the DLE in planning and coordinating community activities, including the monthly activities calendar and newsletter.
  • Resident Engagement: Encourage residents to participate in community activities, assisting them to attend while supporting their independence.
  • Supply Management: Help with ordering supplies and equipment for regular activities.
  • Outings and Transportation: May be required to attend outings off-site and help to keep track of residents ensuring a meaningful and safe trip for all.
  • Administrative Support: Carry out other duties as assigned by the DLE, including maintaining the Activity Participation Tracking Chart and assisting in the success of the community Parallel Programming schedule.
  • Resident Rights: When interacting with residents and/or family members, be mindful of the Resident's Rights to Privacy.
  • Safety and Security: The ability to work in a safe and alert manner, take ownership for associate's safety and the safety of the residents, and disclose any medication that might impair associate's ability to perform the job safely or competently.
