We are seeking a dynamic Chief Operations Officer (COO) to steer a thriving healthcare organization in the Kansas City metropolitan area. This role is pivotal in overseeing a multi-specialty healthcare provider with numerous physicians and locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all operational divisions, including finance, human resources, and business operations.
- Provide daily operational guidance and support to staff, ensuring alignment with the company’s mission and core values.
- Formulate, implement, and oversee operational policies and procedures.
- Resolve complex challenges by deconstructing issues and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain effective communication and reporting systems for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with partners and executives to synchronize operational objectives with the broader business strategy.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, including documentation and audits.
- Oversee budget management, financial reporting, and fiscal accountability.
- Monitor financial performance to ensure revenue goals are achieved and expenses are managed effectively.
- Initiate and execute process improvement strategies to enhance workflow, program quality, safety, and overall experience.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, economics, or a related field is preferred.
- A master’s degree in health administration or business administration is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Minimum of 6 years of progressively responsible experience in operations, business development, finance, or a related area.
- Demonstrated experience managing a team of over 50 individuals with strong relationship-building capabilities.
