About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Personal Lines Account Manager to join our team at SFB. As a key member of our insurance team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our clients receive the best possible insurance solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain professional relationships with clients, agency personnel, and company staff through prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, and accurate service.
  • Answer client inquiries regarding policy status, coverage, and premium information.
  • Apply knowledge of products and services to best meet client needs.
  • Process client requests, including completing paperwork, updating account information, and requesting endorsements.
  • Complete applications for new business and submit to the companies for processing within 24-48 hours.
  • Manage risk files, track new business, and update policy and coverage data.
  • Market accounts and review renewals for accuracy.
  • Prepare price quotes and understand company sales policies and procedures.
  • Handle client complaints and document all contact in traxlog.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and two to three years of related experience.
  • Excellent Microsoft applications skills, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A Property & Casualty Insurance License (or to be obtained within 90 days of hire).
