Job Overview

The Parking Compliance Officer is responsible for overseeing the parking facilities, ensuring adherence to regulations and maintaining a secure environment. This role involves monitoring for any unusual activities and collaborating with security personnel when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding customer service, particularly in challenging situations.
  • Maintain professionalism and composure when interacting with difficult patrons.
  • Utilize advanced License Plate Recognition (LPR) technology to ensure compliance with parking regulations.
  • Issue notices for vehicles that violate parking policies.
  • Enforce time restrictions in designated areas using the LPR system.
  • Keep the LPR vehicle in pristine condition to uphold a professional image.
  • Report any customer service concerns to management promptly.
  • Assist businesses with parking validation inquiries.
  • Guide customers in the proper use of payment stations and perform minor maintenance as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows and related software applications (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with both Android and Apple operating systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Valid driver's license is mandatory.
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) is required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods, up to 10 hours.
  • Capability to bend, crouch, and reach as needed.
  • Must be able to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.

Working Environment:

  • Outdoor work for prolonged periods, potentially throughout the entire shift.
  • Exposure to various environmental conditions, including extreme temperatures.
