Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Parking Enforcement Officer to join our team at Dept Off Street Parking. As a Parking Enforcement Officer, you will be responsible for enforcing parking regulations and ensuring compliance with parking laws.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enforce parking regulations and issue citations for non-moving violations
  • Operate a motor vehicle on a continuing basis in varied traffic and conditions
  • Conduct routine patrolling of parking areas and testifies in court proceedings related to work activity
  • Operate law enforcement two-way radio equipment and complete administrative reports
  • Perform related duties as required
Requirements
  • Knowledge of public relations principles and techniques
  • Knowledge of basic legal concepts as they relate to the enforcement of parking regulations
  • Knowledge of authority rules, regulations, and procedures
  • Ability to use mobile or handheld radio equipment and related communications equipment
  • Possession of a valid Florida State Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record for the past 5 years
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Parking Enforcement Certification is required
