Job Summary:

The AutoZone Manager Trainee position is a transitional role that provides work assignments and training opportunities to prepare candidates for Retail/Commercial Store Management positions. This role is ideal for individuals with prior retail management experience who are looking to advance their careers with a leading auto parts retailer.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Manager Trainee, you will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the overall operation of the store, including retail/commercial management, supervision, and policy implementation. You will also be responsible for financial management, employee staffing, training, and development, inventory management, and customer service leadership.

Requirements:

1-2 years of previous experience as a retail manager or supervisor

Ability to work a full-time flexible schedule, including morning, night and weekend shifts, and to work overtime as needed

Bilingual preferred, but not required

Previous automotive experience preferred, but not required

Previous experience analyzing company financials including Profit and Loss Statement preferred, but not required
