Optometrist - Washington University Eye Center

Washington University in St. Louis is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Optometrist to join our team at the Washington University Eye Center. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with a range of eye care needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat patients with refractive errors, contact lens fitting and dispensing, emergency exams, and medical diseases of the eye.
- Discuss and interpret findings with patients, suggesting appropriate remedies and adhering to established compliance guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the director of ophthalmology, including adhering to quality, safety, and hazardous material procedures.
Requirements:
- Licensed Doctor of Optometry in the state of Missouri and/or Illinois, depending on work location.
- Basic Life Support certification.
