Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned sales professional to join our team as an Outside Sales Representative for Acosta/Berg. This role involves executing market strategy, selling, and promoting a leading manufacturer of consumer goods in the San Antonio TX market areas.

The ideal candidate will have a professional sales approach, knowledge of the industry, and excellent communication skills. They will be responsible for stimulating market growth, managing sales and distribution, and building lasting relationships with store managers/owners.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the retail landscape, be able to analyze sales data, and develop effective sales strategies. They will also be comfortable using iPad technology for reporting and have excellent time management and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stimulate market growth through coverage of urban convenience stores, independent supermarkets, pharmacies, and grocery stores in assigned geography
  • Manage sales, distribution, and merchandising of our brand portfolio within an assigned territory
  • Conduct professional product presentations to current and prospective customers
  • Place product orders and expand product offerings to retailers
  • Achieve sales goals and brand building measures
  • Build lasting relationships with store managers/owners by providing expert consumer insights and advice
  • Utilize iPad technology for reporting all inventory/sales made daily and weekly
  • Consistently demonstrate company values in all business interactions
