About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Project Manager to lead our Underground Utilities projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of these projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute project plans, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management strategies.
  • Lead a team of project professionals and contractors, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Manage project resources, including labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Ensure all project activities comply with company and industry safety standards.
  • Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications.
  • Resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Continually seek opportunities to improve project management processes and techniques.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Senior Project Manager in the construction industry, with a focus on underground utilities and sewer projects.
  • A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale, complex underground utility projects.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and safety regulations.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • A professional certification in project management (PMP) is preferred.
