We are seeking a highly skilled and certified professional to join our team as a Flexologist at StretchLab Appleton WI. As a Flexologist, you will provide one-on-one assisted stretches for our clients, utilizing our proprietary Flexologist training to deliver a world-class stretching experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver standard 25 and 50-minute one-on-one stretch sessions, incorporating all major muscle groups and extremities.
  • Customize stretch sessions to meet the individual needs of clients, assessing their bodies and discussing outcome goals.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, delivering a high-end experience to every client.
  • Encourage and motivate clients throughout stretch sessions, promoting future visits and membership options.
  • Build StretchLab membership and retain current clientele through sales and outreach to leads.
  • Manage client care, delivering a best-in-class stretching experience, updating client notes consistently, and booking client's weekly recurring appointments.
  • Ensure client safety, enforcing StretchLab policies and safety rules.
  • Attend staff meetings and required educational presentations.
  • Handle member concerns and assist Sales Associates and General Manager with studio tours and sales as needed.
  • Maintain a strong social media presence to promote client membership and retention.
  • Clean and maintain all equipment to ensure its availability for client use.

Requirements:

  • Love of boutique fitness environment and passion for stretching, mobility, and flexibility.
  • Nationally certified and/or licensed as a physical therapist, chiropractor, personal trainer, massage therapist, yoga instructor, Pilates teacher, or another form of specialized health & fitness.
  • 2 years of previous experience in a fitness facility, private training environment, or professional health setting.
  • Superior communication skills, with the ability to connect with people while motivating them to achieve their goals.
  • Ability to successfully perform stretch routines on clients of all sizes and age groups, with a physical demand of lifting minimum 25-30 lbs above the head with ease.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Hands-on training and experience in areas such as anatomy, Kinesiology, corrective exercise, post-rehab, and injury prevention, athletic training.
  • Passionate and positive about helping others achieve long-term progress and results to retain clientele.
  • Experience working in a fitness/health environment where you provide hands-on training with a client.
  • Fitness certification required.
  • Ability to create a positive environment that welcomes all people.
  • Ability to work on a team, take direction, and keep an open mind.
  • Fantastic communication skills and exudes empathy.
  • Must love connecting with people and have a passion for helping them achieve goals.
  • Must have a professional work ethic, be reliable, and adhere to our attendance policies.
  • Must be available to go through our 2-day Flexologist Training Program, which includes 20 hours of online tutorials and 3 days of in-person/hands-on training.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20-$25 per hour
