About the Role

C&S Companies is seeking experienced Inspectors to join our team in various locations across New York State, including Albany, Buffalo, and Syracuse areas. As a Senior Inspector, you will be responsible for performing routine construction inspection services, reviewing and assigning work for Inspectors, and ensuring compliance with company standards and New York State DOT specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform construction inspection services under the supervision of a Chief Inspector or Resident Engineer.
  • Review and assign work for Inspectors, ensuring timely completion of tasks and adherence to project schedules.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress, identify potential issues, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with contractors to resolve minor issues and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Maintain detailed records of work and measurements, ensuring accurate documentation for payment.
Requirements
  • 5 years of related experience in construction and transportation projects.
  • NICET Level III certification or successful completion of Fundamentals of Engineering exam required.
  • Associates Degree required; Bachelor's Degree a plus.
