Moreover, the role will evaluate the layout of the Distribution Center, rack configurations, technological alternatives, slotting strategies, and other elements to foster continuous improvement across the supply chain, from the impact on customers to internal efficiencies and vendor collaborations.

The position entails analyzing workforce utilization, work center configurations, material flows, production expenses, process flows, and production needs to ascertain the most effective use of personnel and equipment.

- Conducting analysis, making recommendations, and implementing improvements to existing workflows and processes to boost throughput.
- Developing and maintaining standard work across all significant process paths within peer operations.
- Preparing analysis and cost justifications for capital project requests as necessary.
- Regularly updating labor standards and productivity expectations by process path.
- Creating a daily manpower planning tool for various Distribution Center processes to optimize labor utilization.

- In collaboration with the Supply Chain support team, identifying and executing distribution and storage process enhancements that increase capacity, lower costs, and improve accuracy.
- Working with procurement and inventory teams to explore standardization opportunities.

- Testing reporting functionalities in partnership with other departments, including IT, to establish a stable and scalable reporting framework for the organization.

- Establishing relevant metrics and reports to guide leadership in decision-making.

Success Metrics
Performance in this role will be evaluated based on:
- Development of continuous improvement strategies that support customer-focused distribution.
- Creation of clear standards and programs to address foundational supply chain issues related to engineered solutions.
- Collaboration with EHS on SOPs that comply with or exceed current safety standards.
- Contribution to the design and development of material handling equipment and technologies that enhance the facility's ability to serve customers effectively.
