Role Responsibilities

As the primary point of contact for our customers, you will oversee all communications between the client and your team, as well as the Resident Business Manager. Your role includes participating in daily production meetings and fostering a sense of engagement and value among our customers. You will work alongside the Resident Business Manager to create and manage budgets, ensuring that all interactions reflect professionalism and respect.

Your leadership will extend to the development, execution, and daily oversight of maintenance programs and processes related to automated storage and retrieval systems. This includes:

  • Delivering exceptional customer service to enhance KNAPP's reputation.
  • Providing tangible value that clients can recognize.
  • Building a positive reputation through swift and effective support.
  • Managing site budgets and commercial activities.
  • Guiding your team to meet defined Service Level Agreements (SLA).
  • Supervising system improvements and installations.
  • Ensuring compliance with training requirements.
  • Mentoring and developing on-site staff.
  • Enhancing the efficiency of KNAPP's support solutions.
  • Maintaining a focus on team development and accountability.
  • Overseeing health and safety considerations related to maintenance tasks.
  • Producing detailed reports on commercial and technical activities.
  • Implementing best practices to optimize resource utilization.
  • Managing the quality of support and maintenance services.
  • Planning and enforcing system security policies.
  • Appreciating cultural diversity within the team.
  • Facilitating internal maintenance team reviews.
  • Championing process improvements to boost customer satisfaction.
  • Developing maintenance budgets and cost forecasts.
  • Ensuring alignment with sub-suppliers.
  • Monitoring the progress of maintenance tasks and resource needs.
  • Participating in performance training and development programs.
  • Responding to emergency calls as necessary.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Business Management, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 5-10 years of progressive experience in maintenance roles leading to supervisory or managerial positions.
  • Proven leadership in repairing various machinery systems, including electrical and mechanical.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish or English/German is preferred but not mandatory.
