About the Role

Ascend Rehab is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Speech Language Therapist to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a Speech Language Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality therapy services to children in a school setting.

We are a multidisciplinary company that offers a range of services, including Speech, Occupational, and Physical therapy. Our team is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in individuals of all ages
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address clients' specific needs
  • Provide therapy sessions to improve clients' speech and language skills
  • Monitor clients' progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans
  • Provide guidance and support to clients' families and caregivers
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state license or certification in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Previous experience working as a Speech-Language Pathologist preferred
  • Knowledge of assessment tools and therapeutic techniques for speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Must have or be eligible for a CA State SLP License
