Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Care Center team at ChristianaCare. As a Pediatric Nurse Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to children under the age of 18 with a variety of diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care to pediatric patients with complex medical conditions
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Conduct thorough assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and evaluate patient outcomes
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements
  • BSN required or commitment to obtaining BSN within three years of date of hire
  • Two years of Acute Care RN experience strongly preferred
  • Pediatric, pediatric emergency, emergency department or critical care experience preferred
  • Delaware RN licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Delaware
  • BLS Certification required; ACLS & PALS preferred
