Position Summary:

The Senior Marketing Coordinator, under the guidance of the Director of Procurement, is responsible for overseeing the creation of RFQ/RFP responses and facilitating client interviews for designated projects. This role involves collaborating with various KBE departments to gather necessary information and develop tailored qualification packages and presentations that align with our business development objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • RFQ/RFP Management: Lead the comprehensive assembly of responses, including:
    • Reviewing RFQ/P documents and formulating a task list;
    • Collaborating with the Director of Procurement and proposal team to devise a response strategy;
    • Conducting kickoff meetings with the proposal and interview teams;
    • Monitoring proposal deadlines using marketing software;
    • Working with preconstruction and construction teams to craft responses to RFP inquiries;
    • Coordinating with various departments to gather submission materials promptly;
    • Ensuring the timely delivery of final submissions;
    • Preparing for interviews by organizing materials and rehearsals.
  • Marketing Material Development: Create customized marketing content for business development managers as needed.
  • Knowledge Management: Maintain and update project and staff information in the CRM system to support proposals and business development efforts.
  • Graphic Design: Develop presentation materials, sponsorship ads, and other graphic content that adhere to KBE branding standards.
  • Event Coordination: Assist in organizing company events and support marketing initiatives.
  • Communication: Generate content for various internal and external communication platforms.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field;
  • 5-7 years of experience in proposal and marketing roles within the construction or engineering sectors;
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite;
  • Experience with CRM systems for reporting and data management;
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
