About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team at Wellpath, a leading provider of healthcare services to underserved populations. As an LVN, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care in a correctional setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and collect patient data, including physical, psychological, and social dimensions, to inform individual treatment plans.
  • Provide restoration of competency services to Incompetent to Stand Trial (IST) patients, including group and individual formats.
  • Implement medical plans, administer medications, and obtain diagnostic tests as ordered by healthcare practitioners.
  • Communicate patient information to nursing staff, healthcare practitioners, and other staff as necessary.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • One (1) or more years of clinic experience preferred.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in the state of employment.
  • Current CPR certification required.
  • Phlebotomy certification strongly preferred.
