Key Responsibilities
Accurately document patient medical histories.
Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate.
Monitor patients undergoing treatment to assess their progress and identify any side effects from medications.
Keep track of patients' conditions, including fluid intake and output, and maintain detailed patient charts.
Assist patients with essential daily activities, including eating and bathing.
Administer prescribed medications, injections, and enemas, as well as clean and dress wounds, while providing basic medical care.
Collect laboratory samples as required.
Offer emotional and psychological support to patients when necessary.
Engage with patients' families or friends to provide guidance, comfort, and discharge instructions.
Qualifications and Skills
Demonstrated experience as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or in a comparable position.
Ability to perform a variety of care tasks and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Knowledge of hospital health, safety, and sanitation standards and protocols.
Understanding of confidentiality requirements and nursing best practices.
Strong grasp of medical and hospital terminology.
Proficient in MS Office and data entry tasks.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
Compassionate demeanor with the capacity to manage stress effectively.
Active LVN license required.
