Server Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Server to join our team at Toogie's Table. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:
  • Greeting and Seating: Greet guests as they arrive and check them in to the reservation system.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Demonstrate genuine hospitality during every interaction with our guests, assign guests to tables using the reservation system, and assist with cleaning and resetting tables as needed.
  • Pre-Shift Meeting: Attend pre-shift meetings to review and communicate information regarding service, VIPs, and specials.
  • Guest Engagement: Engage with guests while they are waiting for their table to create a welcoming environment.
  • Opening and Closing Responsibilities: Perform opening and closing responsibilities in a timely and detailed manner.
  • Guest Recovery: Maintain a positive guest experience with effective communication of all guest recovery situations while documenting such occurrences to the MOD.
  • Team Support: Assist and support team members as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Knowledge and Ability: Demonstrates knowledge and ability to execute restaurant standards.
  • Experience: Restaurant experience preferred.
  • Attitude: Must have a positive attitude.
  • Customer Service Experience: 1 year of customer service experience.
