Job Summary:

The University of Wisconsin-Madison is seeking a highly skilled Pulmonary Medicine Physician to join our Division of Allergy, Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. As a key member of our team, you will provide clinical services in pulmonary medicine at UW Health-approved locations, including University Hospital and EastPark Medical Center.

Opportunities may be available for critical care and/or sleep medicine based on your interest and the needs of the organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide pulmonary services in the inpatient and ambulatory settings of UW Health.
  • Participate in clinical teaching of fellows, residents, and medical students.
  • Support the teaching and clinical research missions of the division and department.
  • Collaborate with other faculty members in a collegial relationship.

Education and Qualifications:
  • Terminal degree (MD, DO, or equivalent).
  • Board certified or eligible in Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine by start date.
  • Eligible for a WI Medical License.
Work Type and Appointment:

This is a full-time position with a renewable appointment.

The selected candidate will be required to pass an initial Caregiver Check to be eligible for employment under the Wisconsin Caregiver Law and then every four years.
