Pulmonary and Critical Care Physician Opportunity

SSM Health Dean Medical Group, a leading multi-specialty group, is seeking a board-certified physician to split time between the Pulmonary Medicine group at its Madison clinic and the Critical Care Medicine group at SSM St. Mary's Hospital. This opportunity offers a unique blend of clinical and academic pursuits in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Pulmonary Medicine Details- Split time between clinic work and inpatient consults at SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital, with a rotating schedule to ensure work-life balance.
- Shared call responsibilities among physicians, with a manageable 1:10-11 week call schedule for a 0.5 FTE pulmonary position.
- Access to on-site PFT lab, radiography, and laboratory services, as well as a multidisciplinary thoracic tumor board.
- Opportunities to participate in EBUS and Sleep Medicine, with a supportive team and state-of-the-art facilities.
- Collaborative environment with an Interventional Pulmonologist and a diverse patient population with a wide range of pulmonary problems.
- Join a team of experienced intensivists, nurse practitioners, and support staff providing high-quality patient care 24/7.
- Treat a wide array of patients, including post-op surgical, post-op heart surgery, neurocritical care, and general medical intensive care unit patients.
- 1 week on/1 week off rotating schedule offers work-life balance, with opportunities to work with interns/residents from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
