Job Summary:

The Division of Allergy, Pulmonary and Critical Care at the University of Wisconsin-Madison is seeking a skilled Interventional Pulmonologist to join our Interventional Pulmonary Medicine Program.

The Interventional Pulmonary Medicine Program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison is a busy and growing program that sees patients from a 5-state area, performs over 1000 procedures per year, and evaluates approximately 30 new outpatient and inpatient consults per week.

The successful candidate will have clinical responsibilities including provision of care for patients with complex airway, pleural, and pulmonary diseases. Additional clinical responsibilities may include lung transplant, oncology, interstitial lung disease, general pulmonary disease, and/or critical care.

The position will include clinical teaching of fellows, residents, and medical students, with an opportunity to participate in didactic teaching. Physicians hired on the CHS track will have protected effort for educational and/or research objectives in alignment with the missions of the Division/Department/School.

The successful applicant will participate in administrative and committee work to support the clinical and scholarly missions of UW Health and the School of Medicine and Public Health.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical care for patients with complex airway, pleural, and pulmonary diseases

Qualifications:
  • Terminal degree (MD/DO or equivalent)
  • Board certified/board eligible in Pulmonary Medicine and Interventional Pulmonology
  • Eligible for a WI Medical License
