Engineering Instructor

Foothill De Anza Community College District is seeking a qualified candidate to join our team as a Part-Time Engineering Instructor. This is a great opportunity to share your expertise and passion for engineering with our students.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching engineering courses, evaluating student work, and participating in the assessment of their performance. They will also be expected to participate in various campus and staff development activities and be involved in the larger College or District community.
Responsibilities:- Teach engineering courses to students at Foothill De Anza Community College District.
- Evaluate student work and provide feedback.
- Participate in the assessment of their performance and contribute to the development of the department.
- Participate in various campus and staff development activities.
- Be involved in the larger College or District community.
The successful candidate will work in an indoor, office environment. They will be required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time, and may be required to lift and carry objects up to 20 pounds.
Minimum Qualifications:- Understanding of, sensitivity to, and respect for the diverse academic, socio-economic, ethnic, religious, and cultural backgrounds, disability, and sexual orientation of community college students, faculty and staff.
- Minimum Qualifications for this position as defined in the Minimum Qualifications for Faculty and Administrators in California Community Colleges published by the Academic Affairs Division, Chancellor's Office, California Community Colleges.
