Job Summary

FirstHealth of the Carolinas, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Telemedicine Paramedic to join our team. As a Telemedicine Paramedic, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to patients remotely, utilizing your expertise in telemedicine and paramedicine.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide quality patient care and interventions remotely, utilizing telemedicine technology.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, tracking patient progress and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Stay current with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.
  • Current NC Paramedic Certification and Certified Community Paramedic (CP-C) certification required.
  • Current AHA certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
  • Current certification in ITLS or PHTLS.
  • FirstHealth Specialty Care Transport Paramedic credentialing required within six months.
  • Valid NC driver's license with good driving history.
  • One year of full-time experience in a high-equity EMS service.

  • Positive interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexible and open to change, with a willingness to adapt to new situations.
  • Prior knowledge of EMS and telemedicine principles.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to recognize the need for interventions and take initiative to address them.
