  • Possess knowledge of hotel outlet hours, activities, meeting room locations, and in-house events.
  • Operate the POS system proficiently to enter orders, modify requests, prepare checks, process payments, and reconcile sales.

  • Effectively utilize opening and closing checklists.
  • Provide excellent table service, including greeting guests, presenting menus and specials, accurately describing menu items, and making food recommendations.
  • Understand Alcohol Awareness protocols and verify guest identification to ensure legal drinking age compliance.
  • Deliver beverage service with attention to detail, including serving, upselling, and presentation.
  • Have knowledge of various liquors, wines, and beers, serving them with appropriate presentation.
  • Relay orders to the kitchen and serve using proper lifting techniques.
  • Implement proper clearing procedures throughout the meal service, replacing utensils as necessary.
  • Accurately total bills and process payments.
  • Follow safety procedures and food handling protocols diligently.
  • Utilize appropriate table service techniques, including greeting, serving, and clearing for banquet functions.
  • Set up tables and rooms according to specifications, ensuring proper china, glassware, silverware, linens, and hollowware are used.
  • Prepare and inspect coffee breaks in accordance with hotel standards.
  • Sanitize dining areas regularly, approximately every 20 minutes.
  • Practice hand hygiene every 20-30 minutes in high-contact areas.
  • Adhere to the hotel's COVID-19 safety protocols.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in food and beverage service within a hotel or restaurant setting.
