Job Summary:

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance of plant equipment and facilities. This includes supervising maintenance personnel, coordinating maintenance activities, and ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and functioning safely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and functioning safely.
  • Assign work schedules to maintenance personnel and ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and equipment maintenance schedules.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with business objectives.
  • Develop and implement maintenance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Provide training and guidance to maintenance personnel to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities to improve maintenance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Develop and manage maintenance budgets to ensure that resources are allocated effectively.
  • Ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as mechanical engineering or industrial technology.
  • 7-10 years of experience in maintenance management, including supervisory experience.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance principles and practices, including preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and reliability-centered maintenance.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with maintenance personnel, other departments, and external vendors.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to improve maintenance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex maintenance issues.
