About the Role:

Atlantic Constructors, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to oversee the planning and implementation of our commercial construction projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain construction plans and schedules
  • Coordinate with internal departments and clients to scope out vendor quotes and purchase equipment and materials
  • Provide guidance for the fabrication schedule and daily monitoring of key metrics
  • Prepare and maintain project budgets and report to senior management on key metrics
  • Identify changes in scope and prepare pricing for potential change orders
  • Develop recovery plans to bring projects back on track when necessary

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent combination of vocational training and experience
  • 7-10 years project management experience and/or equivalent combination of vocational training and experience
  • At least 10 years mechanical or electrical contracting experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision

Work Environment:

May work in varying temperatures, both inside and outside, including inclement weather, heat, humidity, cold, and dampness. May be exposed to moderate/high noise levels, fumes or airborne particles, and confined spaces or high heights.

Physical Demands:

While performing duties of the job, the employee may work aloft, climb, bend, pull, reach overhead, stand/walk for long periods of time, and lift up to 50 lbs. Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms.

Travel:

May require travel, typically not overnight.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Lean six sigma black belt certification
  • Familiarity with the BIM process
  • Prior experience with Procore - Project Management System
  • Prior military experience
