Job Title: Call Center Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Call Center Representative to join our team at Sparks Group. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members through phone calls and electronic messages.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build rapport with members by processing requests, answering questions, and resolving issues accurately.
  • Analyze situations, use good judgment, and troubleshoot to help members find solutions.
  • Look for opportunities to recommend products and services that can benefit members financially.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of all credit union products and services.
  • Manage your time effectively to ensure excellent service and member satisfaction.
  • Protect sensitive information by verifying caller data through multiple sources.
  • Assist members with online banking issues and research VISA, debit, and STAR card problems.
  • Take loan applications and submit them to the lending department.
  • Research ACH issues and track down originators.
  • Collaborate with managers on tasks related to opening and closing the contact center.
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of experience in a call center environment.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and ability to connect with members.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain high attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve member concerns.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and computer operating systems.
  • Strong foundation in basic mathematical functions.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and uphold confidentiality of member information.
