Job Title: Project Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to oversee all aspects of customer projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and completing projects on time, within budget, and within scope.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Work with the Director of Services and shop leads to coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of multiple projects.
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Work directly with internal and external customers to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project create internal and external raving fans.
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
  • Prepare reports for upper management regarding the status of projects.
  • Measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques.
  • Report and escalate issues, concerns, and delays to management as needed.
  • Manage the relationship with clients and relevant internal staff.
  • Perform risk management to minimize potential risks.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project.
  • Provide recommendations for project tasks based on junior staff members' individual strengths, skill sets, and experience levels.
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members.
  • Use and continually develop leadership skills.
  • Additional job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-4 years of recent and verifiable experience in project management.
  • Knowledge of a variety of project management concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Successful experience maintaining project budgets.
  • Experience using critical thinking and creativity to achieve project goals.
  • High level of customer service with internal and external customers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with project management software tools.
  • Security Clearance (Preferred).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certificate.
  • Related industry experience.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly exposed to office noises (i.e., office machines, conversations, foot traffic). Also, may occasionally be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

Full-Time, Exempt. Monday - Friday. Available for OT or weekend work as needed.

Travel:

This position may require occasional travel. Some out-of-area and overnight travel may be required.
