Key Responsibilities- Project Planning and Coordination
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and within-budget completion of projects.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders, including owners, designers, and subcontractors, to ensure project requirements are met.
- Site Management
- Supervise and coordinate the work of assistant superintendents, field engineers, and craft employees to ensure efficient and safe project execution.
- Monitor and control project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment expenses.
- Quality Control and Assurance
- Ensure that all construction work meets project specifications, codes, and industry standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address any quality control issues.
- Safety and Risk Management
- Develop and implement safety plans and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Monitor and report on safety performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Communication and Collaboration
- Communicate project status, progress, and issues to stakeholders, including owners, designers, and subcontractors.
- Collaborate with project team members to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in road and bridge construction management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
