Forrester Research, Inc., a global research and advisory firm, caters to professionals in 13 key roles across three distinct client segments. The role of a Senior Account Executive entails meeting an assigned quota by generating and closing new business within the designated territory. The individual is responsible for devising and implementing a territory plan and strategy to achieve high quota fulfillment. Upon identifying potential prospects, the Senior Account Executive must conduct a needs analysis and showcase the value of Forrester to prospective clients by addressing critical business challenges. Post client acquisition, collaboration with an account manager is essential to ensure a smooth transition for all new business deals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve a new business sales quota in the designated territory.
  • Identify and close suitable accounts within the assigned territory.
  • Develop and secure business from IT and marketing technology providers not currently engaged with Forrester.
  • Sell to VP level and above within the prospect's IT and marketing organizations.
  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline to meet the quota, and keep it updated in Forrester's CRM system.
  • Generate accurate and timely forecasts.
  • Stay abreast of evolving business and technology challenges faced by potential clients.
  • Collaborate with research teams to enhance the Forrester value proposition for prospects.
  • Attain a comprehensive understanding of Forrester's wide range of product offerings, emphasizing business outcomes.
