Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Norfolk, VA. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting field evaluations, generating review comments, and ensuring that electrical design submittals meet code standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct site visits to assess electrical systems and generate design requirements
  • Witness acceptance testing and provide troubleshooting recommendations
  • Use AutoCAD and/or REVIT software to design and analyze electrical systems
  • Produce written reports and make oral presentations of proposed designs and results of studies
Requirements:
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the discipline of Electrical Engineering is required
  • Knowledge of DoD and Navy guide specifications, criteria, and policy, industry codes and standards, and standard practices as related to electrical engineering design
  • Knowledge of local, state, federal, and foreign country laws, codes, and other statutory requirements affecting electrical engineering design
  • Knowledge of budgeting, planning, and project management techniques, including the ability to coordinate the work of others and lead teams
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with AutoCAD and/or REVIT software, Microsoft Office products, and electrical engineering design and analysis software
  • Knowledge of related architectural and engineering fields and their associated impacts as related to electrical engineering design
