Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Transmission Calibration Engineer to join our team at Ford Motor Company. As a key member of our Product Development team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining calibration DVMs and DVP&Rs using in-vehicle or dynamometer calibration data. Your expertise in electrical/electronic systems and software fundamentals will be essential in providing leadership to vehicle programs for the resolution of transmission calibration issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain calibration DVMs and DVP&Rs using in-vehicle or dynamometer calibration data
  • Provide leadership to vehicle programs for the resolution of transmission calibration issues
  • Assist in the development of software, control system requirements, and strategies
  • Support quality investigations
  • Experience using/interpreting C-based software
  • Experience with automotive CAN communication networks and analysis
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering, or related field
  • 2+ years' experience in automotive calibration
  • 1+ years of experience with MS Office toolset proficiency
  • Valid Driver's License and ability to achieve test track Tier II driver certification required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master of Science Degree in electrical engineering, or related field
  • 4+ years' experience in automotive calibration
  • 2+ years of experience with MS Office toolset proficiency
  • Strong analytical, teamwork, written and oral communication, and leadership skills
