Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at 1301 Thomas Circle in NW Washington DC.

Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Responding to resident requests for maintenance and service in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness of the community, including grounds, amenities, building exteriors, market-ready units, interiors, breezeways, curbs, signage, leasing office, central garbage areas, parking lots, and other buildings and common areas.
  • Ensuring that apartments are ready for occupancy as directed by the Service Manager.
  • Maintaining tools, equipment, and workspace in proper working order and requesting replacements as necessary.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Maintenance experience in the multifamily or hospitality industry.
  • Competency in residential plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, painting, and drywall.
  • Knowledge of and experience in HVAC and carpentry is a plus.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to provide superior service to internal and external customers.
  • Valid driver's license and rotating on-call responsibility.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $24.00-$27.00 per hour, depending on experience.
