Job Title: Production Print Engineer

As a key member of our team at Allied Business Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our company's sales efforts focused on production print clients and prospects. You will leverage your technical expertise to support our sales team, engage with clients, and contribute to the growth of our business in the office technology field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement print shop system integration and automation solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date and certified on Fiery and other print shop software applications.
  • Qualify prospects to ensure the proper product and application is sold.
  • Provide post-sale training of production equipment and finishing equipment to end users.
  • Offer post-sale Tier 2 support, as assigned.
  • Account for professional services revenue and time allocation.
  • Assist sales team members with technical knowledge on production print and finishing equipment.
  • Assist technicians with software applications and file layout.
  • Train clients on production print machines and Fiery software products.
Essentials and Education:
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a production print shop working with Adobe Suite, and Fiery, or experience in supporting sales members with production print sales and a strong Fiery background.
  • Xerox production print or equivalent experience with Canon, Konica, or Ricoh.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as a team member.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, and online applications.
Qualifications:
  • Strong project management, ability to successfully manage multiple tasks.
  • Fiery certifications.
  • Strong relationship building and communication skills.
  • Expertise on production print product capabilities.
  • Industry certifications are a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Other Requirements:
  • Physical demands include sits, squats, bends, lifts and moves during working hours.
