Wound Care Specialist Registered Nurse Job Description

Restore First Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Wound Care Specialist Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, treating, and managing acute and chronic wounds in collaboration with our mobile wound care team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive wound assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide evidence-based wound care interventions and treatments.
  • Monitor wound healing progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Educate patients, caregivers, and healthcare staff on wound care best practices.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and updated patient records and documentation.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and best practices in wound care management.
Requirements:
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) State License in good standing.
  • Wound Care Certification preferred (WCC, CWOCN, CWON, CWS).
  • Previous experience in wound care management is highly desirable.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
