Position Summary:

We are on the lookout for a skilled Salesforce CRM Specialist to enhance our IT Enterprise Customer Enablement team. This role is crucial as we adapt to the increasing demand for our offerings. The ideal candidate will excel in a dynamic environment and will collaborate closely with various internal teams including IT, Commercial Sales Operations, Change Supply Management, and Marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with internal stakeholders to ascertain their requirements within the Salesforce CRM framework.
  • Diagnose issues and guide users towards suitable solutions or provide self-service instructions.
  • Receive general guidance from management for complex tasks.
  • Implement technical solutions that adhere to industry best practices.
  • Ensure system integrity by integrating technical solutions into business workflows.
  • Report directly to the IT Manager - CRM.
  • Contribute to the development and configuration of innovative Salesforce solutions.
  • Collaborate effectively with business and commercial operations teams.
  • Enhance the functionality and efficiency of business operations within the Salesforce CRM environment.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Management Information Systems is preferred.
  • Over eight years of relevant experience, with a minimum of six years focused on Salesforce platforms, including development and customization.
  • Proficiency in core web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS#, and jQuery.
  • Strong software engineering capabilities with expertise in XML, AJAX, JavaScript, Apex, LWC, SOQL, SOSL, Unit Testing, and Peer Testing.
  • Experience with web services (REST & SOAP, JSON & XML) and integration processes.
  • Familiarity with administration, configuration, customization, and development within Salesforce.
  • Experience managing large datasets, with a focus on performance optimization.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented principles, application design concepts, Salesforce best practices, and design patterns.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of relational databases, data modeling, and ETL tools.
  • Direct experience with CRM projects for mid-market and enterprise-level organizations.
  • Ability to develop technical solutions aligned with overarching architectural frameworks.
  • Working knowledge of complex business systems integration and object-oriented design methodologies.
  • Experience in Agile development practices, particularly SCRUM and test-driven development.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and Continuous Delivery processes for Salesforce deployment, including code migration tools and version control systems.
  • Exceptional organizational, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with cross-functional technical teams.
  • A detail-oriented mindset with a capacity to quickly learn and adapt to new concepts, business models, and technologies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in automated API testing projects/applications.

Preferred Skills:

  • Salesforce Administrator and Salesforce JavaScript certifications.
  • Salesforce Commerce Developer certification.
  • Experience in Order Management Lightning and Procure to Pay (P2P) processes.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer certifications I and II.
