Responsibilities:

Troubleshooting electrical, computer, mechanical, and pneumatic systems commonly utilized in industrial manufacturing environments.

Interpreting electrical diagrams and wiring schematics.

Working with electrical circuits - 24V, 120V, 240V, and 480V, including high voltage power distribution (up to 34.5KV), grounding, and related components (transformers, breakers, fuses, disconnects, etc.).

Handling AC and DC motors & variable frequency drives.

Connecting laptops for communication with various types of PLCs for troubleshooting; requires knowledge of Ethernet IP addressing and serial communications.

Managing industrial temperature control systems, including thermocouples, temperature controllers, solid-state relays, and heating elements.

Ensuring compliance with industrial safety circuitry, including Emergency Stop circuits.


Qualifications:

Currently pursuing an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) or an Associate in Occupational Studies (AOS) degree in a relevant electrical field.

Must adhere to all required PPE and follow safe work practices and regulations, including OSHA standards and NFPA 70E compliance.

Letter of recommendation from an academic instructor is preferred.
