Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a qualified Electrician 2 to join our expanding installation team. This role is eligible for a sign-on bonus and requires a Journeyman or Master’s license.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Establish the method and sequence for the installation of electrical fixtures and equipment, including AC/DC motors, control panels, PLCs, switches, and transformers.
  2. Interpret technical plans, sketches, wiring diagrams, and specifications.
  3. Order materials, tools, and equipment while managing inventory levels.
  4. Install and repair control and distribution systems, such as motors, relays, switches, thermostats, and circuit-breaker panels.
  5. Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit accurately.
  6. Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide recommendations for resolution.
  7. Utilize hand tools, power tools, gauges, and measuring equipment for installations or service tasks.
  8. Inspect and test components of electrical systems, including transformers, transfer switches, and switch gears.
  9. Communicate effectively with management regarding job status, issues, and recommendations.
  10. Document work performed in a timely and comprehensive manner.
  11. Operate a company vehicle safely within the service area, adhering to all local laws.
  12. Follow safety protocols diligently, report hazards, and contribute to a secure working environment.

Qualifications:

  1. High School Diploma or GED.
  2. 4-8 years of relevant experience in the electrical field.
  3. Possession of a Journeyman license or equivalent electrical training and experience.
  4. A valid driver’s license in good standing.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience working within data center environments.

Compensation and Benefits:

Compu Dynamics offers a competitive pay range of $25—$38 USD, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, a 401k plan with a dollar-for-dollar company match up to 4%, various voluntary benefits, employer-paid life insurance, seven holidays, paid parental leave, volunteer time off, and up to four weeks of paid time off after 60 days of employment.
