Job Summary

Compu Dynamics LLC is seeking an experienced Electrical Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Install team, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining electrical systems in our data center facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical System Installation: Determine the method and sequence of proposed installation of electrical fixtures and equipment, including AC/DC motors, control panels, PLC's, switches, and transformers.
  • Plan Interpretation: Interpret plans, sketches, wiring diagrams, and specifications to ensure accurate installation.
  • Material Requisition: Requisition material, tools, and equipment, and maintain inventory to ensure efficient installation.
  • Control and Distribution Apparatus Installation: Install and repair control and distribution apparatus, including motors, relays, switches, thermostats, circuit-breaker panels, etc.
  • Wire and Conduit Management: Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit to ensure proper installation.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot issues and make recommendations to resolve the situation.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate hand tools, power tools, gauges, and measuring equipment to perform installations or service to the equipment and/or mechanical system.
  • Inspection and Testing: Inspect and test components of electrical systems, including transformers, transfer switches, and switch gears.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate status of jobs, issues, recommendations, etc. to management.
  • Documentation: Provide timely and completed documentation of work performed.
  • Vehicle Operation: Drive company vehicle throughout service area while following all local laws.
  • Safety Protocols: Operate vehicles and other equipment safely; adhere to safety protocols; report hazards and risks; behavior contributes to a safe and secure working environment.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience: 4-8 years experience in the field or related area.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Journeyman license or equivalent electrical training and experience.
  • Valid Driver's License: Valid drivers license in good standing.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Data Centers: Experience with data center electrical systems.
